Yes he is a truly odious being. But then the Republicans still lining up behind and nodding their heads in agreement are just as culpable. They are more interested in having a Republican President in the White House after the next election. I'm not sure but there is an act outside impeachment which they can use to stand down a President. I vaguely remember someone suggesting it be used before this crisis. The Republicans could swallow their pride and join the Democrats and vote for using this act and replace him. Pence is a religious nutter but I'm not sure he is as dangerous as this monster is to the people of the US. He is thoroughly unelectable as a President in the upcoming elections but they don't have to go with him. I'm sure there will be some ambitious Republican willing to step up. But this time the Republicans have to avoid putting up a candidate who is not a sociopathic narcissistic criminal. How hard could that be?

There is the 25th Amendment but like the rest of the US Constitution, it is no longer worth the paper it is written on.

It is so so full of loop holes. Even if the GOP were not a grovelling sniveling bunch of psychophants, it requires a majority of Cabinet members to remove the loser. Problem is - nearly all of them are conveniently merely 'acting' members who do probably do not qualify but worst of all, the move has to be initiated by the Vice President who has ensconced himself so far up trump's anus that it would be impossible to remove him

Every time I see that Addams family goon standing sentry duty with the puppy dog look of adoration on its face, I want to give him a giant slap. But that would damage my hand and the screen.
