The Celestial Serpent Speaks
22/10/2007 09:06 pmIzzie was slinking about in the sunshine at the ma's place browsing through gardening magazines (drooling over pretty piccies of Peter Cundall) while listening to the radio. Normally we turn off the radio for "Bush Telegraph" but for some inexplicable reason, today was an exception. Just as well as they had an interview with Lisa Gerrard,Izzie's favorite singer of all time ever. What a most delightful surprise - having seen her in concert once but never heard an interview with her before - a most mysterious and shy Siren indeed
Couldn't help but giggle when she said that she'd often indulge in a bit of baking to get a break from composing and crawling around the computer like a reptile!
Here's some one who knew her mission in life a long long time ago. Just as well she did not meet Ivan Milat on those youthful hitch hiking adventures. And she's even a fan of symphonic frogs. Such an inspiration.
She doesn't appear until about half way through the audio of the program
Interview with the Celestial Serpent
Really must get our paws on a copy of that movie "The Insider" Liked it so much, went to see it twice at the movies. And the magnificent music was just the half of it.
