Most peeved indeed was the Izzie. One thing that annoys the hell out of this serpent is radio announcers tantalizing us with tasty tidbits which they invariably keep under wraps until the last two minutes of their otherwise rather dreary show. So poor Iz ended up listening to ALL of this program when all she really wanted was that interview - which by the way was most interesting. He's not quite Leunig but Izzie does rather like Bill Leake and was left pondering on the indelible image of Phillip Gonzales Ruddock slouching in his vampire coffin complaining about 'Sunset' clauses. Oh - is so true what one of the speakers said - that he remembers cartoons from 12 years ago when he has long forgotten the content of the neighbouring editorial. Izzie has been a political cartoon junkie from way back in her flobberworm days of the late 1970s and still have quite a few from then on fading tatty yellowed newspaper
