Another absurd turban

Oh this is so wicked. We get to annoy both George Bush and the Saudis in one fell swoop

PS - most peculiar indeed. Our evil piccie was there 30 minutes ago but has now mysteriously disapparated.
Looks like you got to save the piccies yourself and not be a nasty freeloader like the Iz (maybe it's time to resurrect the old 'greatestjournal' for just such nefarious purposes)
So - join the infidel hordes and follow the road to Amsterdam.
Warning -not posting the link directly since while there are some wickedly wonderful gems among this lot, to find them, you've got to wade through lots of crude nasties that even an infidel serpent like the Izzie finds offensive. Also - many are not particularly work safe - to put it mildly
The 3 or 4 originals that most of the parodies are based on are really rather kitschie pictures. This guy is portrayed in such a way that makes one think he is supposed to represent the essence of masuline handsomeness but the Iz finds all of them to be quite scary. (so we finally see the inspiration for George Michael's incredibly ugly facial hair adornments)
One is uncannily similar to those corny Sacred Heart of Jesus pictures and statues and another like a teenage Professor Quirrell. The one we wanted to post was a very evil green looking statue of liberty - truly a most broken looking image.

It's a bugger. The Izzie does not drink beer, does not see the point of munching Danish butter cookies when the local ones are just as good (think global, buy local is this green serpent's motto) and Danish cheese fills us with memories of stinkers like tilsiter and esrom. The first thing the Iz did when she got her first pay packet many moons ago was to visit the Cheese Shop in Dublin. Silly serpent chose esrom amongst other delights and has no desire to ever repeat the experience. Even 'Danish' pastries are too sickly sweet for our tastes. So our support was limited to posting the link some entries back.

Has Aci taken a peek at that Dutch photoshop competition? We just know you will love it. Most of it is a bit too crude for our tastes but there is the odd gem - the Heineken being one of our favorites.
