Apparently the AEC mob do take note of the style of informal votes - looking for the Mark Latham influence obviously Izzie liked the Albert Langer trick of numbering only as far as the candidates you like and then giving all the rest the same number (usually 3 or 4) and used to do it that way until he got arrested and they made it invalid. Guttersnipes! Would be interesting to see how many Donkey votes there are. The Labor guy in Swan got lucky getting his name first on the ballot but it did not get him over the line :(
