Izzie well and truly missed the half way update so decided to pick a prettier number instead.
So based on an average of ten days per item, should have clocked up 55 or so completed items by now. But the map is most definitely not the territory. Only managed to get about half of that. A grand total of 29 ticked off the list
Some things on the list are nearly completed - most of the gardening and star gazing stuff for instance and others barely started or seriously on the long long finger.
The biggest items completed so far are the solar panels and reduction of water use as well as finally completing the public speaking list just this Friday gone. Had done most of it ages ago but since somehow managing to lose the sign off book, if it was not on the book it did not count.
Interestingly, some of the most important items are also the most urgent and have been seriously ignored - all the stuff pertaining to getting a proper Goblin job - signing up for CPA or preferably Chartered Accounting, finishing that resume and applying for goblin jobs instead of just being a lazy complacent serpent
Tackling the house and taming the credit card will also need to feature high on the list of new year's resolutions
Realised that some of the items are ridiculously ambitious. Many consist of 5 to 12 separate sections and as one of the folks in the public speaking group pointed out - designing a set of tarot cards involves 78 parts but counts as only one item on the list
Strange how sometimes the most fun things end up getting put off the longest along with the boring and serious stuff. This one would go very well with the free software programs and learning how to use the graphics tablet that's been sitting in the broom cupboard since May 2005.
The Hexen-Ecke and 12 poisonous plants would go perfectly together. Pity that wolfsbane does not like the hot and dry climate of the wild west of Oz
At this stage, since it is most likely based on the present rate of completion that only 20 something from the remaining list will get finished, should concentrate on the most important and urgent which also happen to be the most boring. Those are all the ones to do with work and money.
The most fun thing on the procrastination list is the tarot cards. It's time to stop dreaming and start drawing
