The gates of the Lair are not normally locked during the day but the serpent stayed in late snoozing. It's not the fact that they had to estimate that annoyed the hell out of Izzie but the completely outrageous double standards they used. The last bill where they read only one half of the meter correctly - the half where we pay them - used only 55 units for the two months. So then they got the nerve to come along and come up with an estimate for 500 units for this period when it was actually 40. But it's amazing how when they estimate for energy produced the number they produce is a big fat zero but when they estimate what you consumed then they don't follow the same logic and just pull some number out of a hat that has no connection whatsoever with any previous bill
Or maybe the average consumer uses 500 per two months. All Izzie knows is that they don't even want to know what the correct reading is unless they can charge for it somehow. They are coming out next week so it will be interesting to see what nonsense there will be on the revised bill. Will we finally get the 200 plus units they owe? One thing for certain - there'll certainly be no apology.
