Storage space for strange snippets
05/06/2003 09:45 pmSince Izzie does not have a computer and the nasty network of the Ministry does not provide bookmarks for all the nooks in Cyberia where we like to lurk....must resort to keeping this
wickedly wonderful stuff in other places. Like here.
Oh they do let us have 50mb of storage space but why fill it up with pages of stuff that I only use occasionally when I all I really need is a portkey to the delightful domains of Cyberia.
This story I had read a long long time ago and it had always puzzled and intrigued me. It was so delightful to find it again. This is the guy who invented the Geodesic dome which as far as Iz is concerned is up there with the pyramids in the pecking order of architectural asthetics. Well, I guess you could call it a spherical pyramid...no a sphere made of pyramids.
There is something delightful (and very sexy) about a person who can get to the age of 80 or more and still maintain a sense of wonder and a twinkle in his eye and an architect who actually designs objects of BEAUTY.
Why must it be a nearly 100% certainty that the UGLIEST building in any University is invariably the HQ of the school of Architecture?
