Ickle Izzie is lurking in the nasty net cafe - down to her last hour paid time until the Tight arse Tuesday top up.
Should be at home slaving over a hot abacus, gardening, cleaning the house or whatever. But Izzie is a lazy serpent.
Been tweeking and fiddling with the abacus doing stuff unrelated to accounting - well not totally. Finally confirmed beyond all doubt that even if the Izzie only got a fifty in both subjects this term - a highly unlikely event we hope, would still manage to maintain a final grade point average over the whole course of over 70%. Seventy does not sound that high but not too many folks manage to stay above it and those who do get two little words (with distinction) added to their degree. And when you ain't a blond blue eyed long legged young thing - every added extra counts.

Last Friday (12th November), the Iz was feeling a bit grumpy and cranky as is usual on Fridays lately. Been bad and staying up too late these days. Had the afternoon to look forward to lounging about under the plane trees at St B. Got the necessary nibblies and stuff and was most surprised to see a big sign near the main gate announcing a FREE concert on Saturday 27th November staring one of Izzie's most favorite groups ever - the utterly evil and wickedly wonderful "Scared Weird Little Guys" along with a bunch of Abba impersonators and other rather wacky performers. But there is of course, the minor problem that the Izzie normally works on Saturday evenings.
Well. Next day, first thing at work was to request this day off. Was getting a bit close to the day so chances weren't too good. But Izzie got it! Ask and you shall receive.
A picnic in the Gardens of St Brutus, listening to the mad antics of the Scaredies under the light of the full moon. What more could a serpent want. One very happy Izzie.
Already requested the following day off to go to a street festival in the same town so now Iz has got four whole days off next week and by then the exams will be over.

At the moment, they also have an exhibition on in the museum there called "Spooked" Iz spent an hour or so looking for the 13 little mousies with human heads hiding around the place in the various exhibits, not to mention trying to spot at least five fluffy and pink spiders webs put up at various strategic locations. Let's hope they will be left there once the exhibition ends next Sunday.
