Pretty Critters

Was at the Royal Show yesterday and our first port of call was the little oasis full of cute critters - birds, kangaroos and assorted lizards plus various sorts of organizations proudly proclaiming their green credentials -even the loggers like to pretend they are tree huggers. Total Public Relations greenwash most of it -but we did get some very cute stickers and a pin up poster of dearest Dolores plus a link to a very quirky movie which we cannot download in nasty netcafes but the piccies looks pretty cute. With a bit of luck, will get around to more squiggles about the interesting creatures found in the grounds of the show - especially the Freak Barn - Izzie's name for the collection of promotional stalls including the various indispensible kitchen gadgets - ie carrot cutters and radish rollers, the loan sharks promoting superduper home loan packages, the various snake oil style health and lifestyle products -etc etc. Even the Australian Federal Police had their fingers in the pie. Be alert and very alarmed. Izzie's favorites though - just had to be the Zombies of Xenu. "Are you tough enough to take our stress test" Izzie considers herself to be a green creature with libertarian tendencies and a fan of free speech for all sorts of fruitcakes. Let reason prevail. But when it comes to scientologist scum - the Iz finds her inner Nazi just begging to be let goosestep all over these crawling abominations.
