Plastic Squiggling Goblins
01/07/2019 09:23 pmIt’s the first day of July. Not just the start of a happy new Goblin year here in Oz but also the first day of the masochistic missions of Camp Nanowrimo and Plastic Free July.
The rules of Camp Nanowrimo are fairly simple. Write a 50,000 word novel in 31 days beginning on the first day of July and ending by midnight on the 31st.
Well those used to be the rules. Now they have been tweaked somewhat and rather majorly watered down. Now it is possible to replace the 50,000 with any number of your choosing and also ‘words’ is negotiable. You can choose hours, pages, or even key strokes.
Needless to say “Novel” also got the flexible treatment and now there are options such as poems, short stories, screen plays etc etc.
