Stuffing Happens

Thanksgiving is a lovely tradition but just looking at this old turkey would turn even the most rabid carnivore into a card carrying vegan
(here in Oz we now have the worst of both worlds. No ritual of gratitude for all the good things that we have just a giant advertising blitz promoting the sad cashed up imposter imported Black Friday. Even the charity shops are now jumping on this juggernaut of consumption.
We already have a similar ritual in Oz. It's not Black Friday but Boxing Day.
Meanwhile back in Dursleyville, the Dementors and their hordes of black rabid dogs have finally found some one else to torment with their miserable presence.
It's been a crazy drama filled month where even the things that I normally like and look forward to have been a burden rather than an exciting challenge.
David Rowe's amazing cartoons and the soap opera that is the recent season of Apprentice President are the only things lately that have cheered me up.
