Potter snippets and fishy figures

izmeinaIzzie is indulging in a spot of procrastination and found some fascinating stuff. There are some Christians out there who recognize a bit of magic when they see it.
Izzie has never heard of John Granger before but he sure does seem remarkably like his namesake Hermione. And Iz sure did enjoy those nasty swipes at Mr Pompous Pullman.
Oh and the amusing Izzie incident of the day - this evening at our auditing tutorial when we were looking at the numbers for some fictitious pharmaceutical company that was well on the way to becoming a tasty dinner for the vultures - You see the numbers tell a story and the job of the auditor is to sniff it out and look for suspicious signs in the figures and revealing ratios.
Izzie offered various speculations as to its demise - many involving ambulance chasing lawyers and all sorts of wierd and wonderful litigation scenarios. The lecturer says "You are far too imaginative to ever become an accountant!"
And to think the day before that another lecturer asks if Iz wants to become an auditor because I wrote my answers to the weekly test once again with the ickle green pen. Apparently it is tradition here that the auditors mark their reports - not with red but green ink. Most peculiar indeed.
But it is two weeks now and not a single one of the weekly assignments has been randomly collected. That of course increases the probability for next time. Most annoying as ickle Iz sacrificed her Thursday sushi munching to finish typing those crazy questionses about that pharmaceutical company.
