Since acinonyxjubatus will soon be returning from Sunny England, the Diva of Dementors has decided to resurrect some nasty questionses from a long long time ago. Questions that remain unanswered...

But as the month of June slowly progresses, it is time to ask them now or they will soon have passed their use by date.

That's an easy one....I'd be studying what the contributing factors are for natural disasters to be quite as nasty as they turn out....and of course, it would be Oxford. Probably Lincoln College, if the food is as good as I remember it to be.

Since it's the 100th anniversary, after work I'll have a gorgonzola sandwich and burgundy, probably with a very puzzled girlfriend :-)

Erhm. God would be good, but I suppose I need to pick something less fantastic. There are the obvious choices - any fantastically rich character with great natural talents and no tragedies in the offing would be good. Harry would be good, Dumbledore and maybe even Hermione, should I fancy something different :-)

What would you like to be remembered for?

Anything that will return to torture future generations of schoolchildren eg Bernoulli, Euler, Shakespeare :-P

Well, you know this. Not so much about the technique, but what that tool can reveal about the workings of extreme natural events like natural disasters.... :-)

Welcome back! In spite of your love for natural disasters, Iz somehow can't see you going to watch "The Day after Tomorrow" All Iz needed to know was that it was from those idiots who made "Independence Day" which served Iz as a warning and NOT a recommmendation.

Gorgonzola!!! Yukk. Iz will never ever bother reading James Joyce. I just have the sneaking suspicion that his stuff is supposed to be read out loud. The stuff that Iz has heard so far really does sound so rythmical and fascinating and does not seem to matter so much what it actually means. A bit like Seamus Heaney's translation of Beowulf I guess, which Iz loved in spite of never ever forgiving those bastards who gave it the Whitbread prize ahead of ..hem hem... one SO much more deserving candidate.
In Dublin, apart from being a whole industry, he is known as 'the prick with the stick' and 'the prat in the hat'. Looks like a sleazy slimeball nasty version of Cuaron's Lupin to the Iz.
So very very looking forward to reading the Pruffie review.
