Free at last! Izzie has spent the precious solstice hours slinking in some stinking class room slaving over a hot abacus.
But now there is no more nasty examses until November - yessss only one more. Since Iz has only TWO subjects left and one of those has nothing to do with goblinses at all - we got the nasty and wicked Managerial Accounting unit exam left and nothing else.
Lazy Iz has one elective left and has decided to be a hippy bohemian arty farty sort and go lurking over in the Department of Dark Arts to do a unit in Web Design for Beginners.
But between now and August - bad Iz just has to get that nasty goblin resume written. Just the thought of it is enough to get a hissy fit of procrastination.

Oh -what a joy it was to dump that copy of Financial Accounting Theory back in the library and exchange it for a Tolkien instead. A rather tatty battered version of "Return of the King" Nowhere near as pretty as the ones in the local library but then again they don't let us keep books for a whole six weeks.
Iz was hoping to pick up the John Granger book about the Potter boy but only found a boring bunch of pompous intellectual Harold Bloomish bitching sort of stuff and Izzie's old favorite "Hogwarts or Hogwash" But en route to the 823.9 ROW and 823.9 TOL shelveseses, passed about 3 whole rows of JOY. Tons of pretentious twaddle. Iz did find amongst all this mumbojumbo a very sad and neglected copy of Ulysses that had seen much better days and took a sneak peek. Had no idea that it was ever so damned big. But the Izzie suspicions are confirmed. The best place to get this story is on a CD. Let some one else do the reading. Apparently those classics mob NAXOS have a 22 cd version. One day when Iz has nothing else to do will give it a go.
Izzie would have so so liked to spend the solstice on the beach watching the sunset and finishing the final chapters of "Prisoner of Azkaban" but even if the goblins didn't have other plans and Iz had taken the day off anyway, would have had to stay at home having a pity party because yet again poor house elf Izzie has too much month left at the end of the money. Well - until Thursday anyway.
So will have to wait until next week to see Shrek 2, Supersize Me and Fahrenheit 9/11. Bugger. And all that in between the adventures of Dolores. Yesss. Iz is ever so looking forward to becoming acquainted once again with the darkest of DADA teachers and Bitch beyond belief.
But she will have to wait until Friday when Iz can bring that big fat juicy book back to St Brutus and sit under the plane trees with a picnic just like she did on Saturday 21st June 2003. Yess. Izzie likes her little rituals.
