The Diva of Dementors has departed

Izzie was only thinking last week that it would have been exactly six months ago this Monday 19th (Which was also Monday 19 in January) that the Diva of Dementors finally slinked out of St Salazaars to inflict her unique brand of misery on her long suffering family.
So it was with much amazement and astonishment that the Iz turns up to work on Saturday to be greeted by Nora (alias Speedy Gonzales, La Diosa and Job's messenger)and informed that this very same most dearest and beloved by all woman had died on Friday.
The very day she left back then was to have been a day of much rejoicing. She was detested and despised by all. But the air of joyous expectation was dampened by her temper tantrums and most of all when one of Izzie's favorite grandmas fell (or rather got pushed) and broke her hip and ended up in hospital for more than a week. But the Precioussss is a tough old creature indeed and is still alive and well and as Gollumish as ever. Yessss. Not just Izzie has noticed the remarkable resemblence. Several of the new elves have commented too.
And true to form, the Diva will always be associated with bad news to the very very end. Izzie's favorite fairy Godmother who I only mentioned recently will probably die within less than a week. She was the one who caught the nasty 'Elephant Virus' from the woman who was in her room for less than a week but just long enough to spread her nasty bugs to half the residents and staff. Izzie still has it and is still suffering from the side effects.
Izzie was last at work on Wednesday and kept slinking in to see Sitella all the time. Yesterday I also dropped by for an hour or so in the evening and she was much much worse. It is so so strange to have met some one less than five months ago but to have been utterly enchanted by her amazing presence. Izzie is not the only one. Kept thinking of Michelle who went on holidays two weeks ago with lots of squishy kisses and hugs for her favorite Grandma and returns on Wednesday to find that she is dying. The poor woman was absolutely shocked and devastated.
We are both absolutely determined to go to her funeral and will take the day off to do so if necessary. As for the other old bat who was half her age whose funeral was on Wednesday - if Iz would have ever been so stupid to do such a thing it would be to bring a garland of garlic and a crucifix and a stake - just to be sure!
Iz was most amused to discover that her maiden name had been "Power" How utterly and absolutely appropriate.
The power to make life hell for every single being she ever came in contact with - and the astonishing ability she had to get people to give their own power up to her. I mean -she was totally paralysed and confined to a wheel chair so there was nothing she could physically do to anyone who did not measure up to her outrageous demands as the only bits of her that worked was that nasty spiteful tongue and the evil malicious mind. She milked the 'Oh the poor thing in a wheel chair and so so young too" sympathy factor for all it was worth but invariably the goodwill would quickly run into the red. Lucky the Iz has a nose for Dementors and her dark detectors are well and truly in working order so I kept my distance. Others got emotionally involved and told her stuff about their private lives that she had no damned business knowing, treated her more as a friend than a resident. Needless to say she would then twist and turn these stories and retell them with great relish to others who had equally little business knowing.
Strange it is. Creatures such as her who demanded attention and affection never got what they truly sought while those who were too busy lavishing love on others to ever demand it for themselves have us little elves drooling all over them, hugging, kissing and pampering them and spending weeks of our lives just crying unconsolably with the thought that such angelic beings will soon also be departed too.
