My first thought was that this was a neophyte cauliflower but studying the growth pattern I'm thinking that it's more than likely brocolli. Is it?

Strange Fruit (and Vegies)

Two out of two ain't bad! It's also known as Cathedral or Romanesco Brocolli and is some strange hybrid of both. Izzie really should have made the picture a bit smaller and more user friendly but you need the size to appreciate the delicate beauty of this delightful vegetable.
