The Izzie slinks into the nasty netcafe. After days of deprivation, we finally have our bottlies of Snape's great grape party potion. Much nicer than boring old coffee which Iz was truly getting tired of. Stargazing with a cup of coffee is kind of twee.

Had another of those evil 8-5.30 shifts today. Tomorrow is 7.30-1.30 which is a pleasent change, but unfortunately the Nurse elf of the morning will be the blond blue eyed aryan bitch from Middle Earth who has been here since November and who just about everyone hates. Just imagine Narcissa Malfoy with a New Zealand accent and you've got the picture.
Then there's dopy Doreen, one of the newest House elves on the block who is one of those creepy touchie feelie sorts and every second word is "Love" She is just so infinitely irritating. Added to the mix, this being the last of eight days in a row at work - many of them being 6, 8 or nasty nine hour shifts, and a weather forecast of 38 celsius, the Iz will most likely be slinking home to the Lair in a state of utter zonkedness.

Things are slowly making progress in the serpent's garden. Soon the Izzie will have little pumpkin thingies growing when the pretty white flowers have faded. It will be a bit tricky getting all the little green things past 3 days of 38 celsius but the new Leeaky hose is just perfect for such situations. In fact there's seedlings popping up in places where the Iz never planted anything. Did put out some basil and valerian seeds yesterday. Will be interesting to see what happens.

This thirsty serpent must be slinking off into the sunset. It feels so so strange not to be over at the Ministry computer labs. Most peculiar indeed.
