izmeina: (Don't panic)

What a wanker. Success has a thousand fathers but failure is a bastard. Unlike bombed out Beazley, Izzie has no time for these johnnie come latelies taking sickies to watch the socceroos play Brazil who then hope to get away with it. It's midnight Izzie time the match started but probably around 3am Sydney time.
Real fans will have known the dates and times of the matches ages ago and rearranged their work schedules accordingly.
Yesss. That match is on right now and the Iz - unpatriotic treacherous serpent that she is, is pottering online instead of jumping up and down and getting excited about a bunch of boys and their balls. Well, the best the Oz can hope for is a draw against Brazil. Not that Izzie cares.

But in a week's time or so - Wednesday 28 June is yet another of those anti Serfchoices protests. The Iz is working 5-9 that day so will able to potter along and get a bit of the action. Maybe will even make a poster or something.

so you didnt watch the football either? I didnt - although i didnt get any sleep. My whole family was in the lounge watching it - and I was in my bedroom wishing they would shut the fuck up so that I could sleep.

It really sucks that I got minimal sleep - I am supposed to be babysitting my little brother (he's 6 months old) today so my step-mother can clean the house.

is june 28th a wednesday? shit - I want to go to the protest in geelong but i'm going to have to think of an excuse of why I have to be in town that day. Wish I could go to the protest in melbourne - but I dont think my mother would even want me going into geelong, so i better concentrate on thinking of an excuse to be there.
