Quirky corals and other creatures
17/08/2006 06:07 pmIzzie has found ourselves another place to potter online in the dark but with podcast speeds of around 6-7 kbps - may as well stay in the Lair and do our snatching. But the only way to find this out was to try it so we're staying until the deed is done
One of the critters we are catching is about someone that we'd never ever heard of before but his enthusiasm for his subject and his passion and joy were just so so infectious that not only was he delightful to listen to but worth snatching for sending to other folks
That's one of the joys of public radio - you get to hear snippets of things on all sorts of obscure but interesting topics that you would never have thought of searching out for yourself
So - the Peter Cundall of the underwater world Charlie Veron (His real name is John and the story of his nickname Charlie is just so so gorgeous and rather revealing)
