Izzie slinks surreptitiously into her Cyberian cell after a rather long absence. So many cobwebs to dust and bits of paperwork to sort out - not just here but in the mundane muggle world too
There's seeds to be planted and beans to be counted. Not done that for the last five weeks or so. Amazing how disconcerting it can be to miss out on the usual rituals no matter how significant the excuse may be.
And all those bottles and munchies did no good for the bank balance either. But it will be a good five years more likely before the Izzie sister visits again so got to make the most of it
But it was all way too much excitement for this serpent

It was such a glorious crisp and crunchy day today. Would have been perfect for the pair of us to be slinking around Fremantle not like the grey rainy Thursday we went two weeks ago where a picnic under the plane trees in the local asylum was just not really possible

Did a good job of corrupting the litle niecie. Among other things, brought over our Monsters Inc dvd which she just adored and kept wanting to play again, again and again. Would have thought that it would have been sort of scary for a 3 year old but she just loved it
Sort of wishing that we didn't give her the Grinch book too as since Saturday he's suddenly looking seriously spooky. Those eyebrows on that perverted piece of filth - Josef Fritzl look just so unbelievably grinchie that the cartoon version has now been permanently contaminated in this serpent's memory
Oh and you just gotta love defence lawyers. The poor old man is heartbroken and taking it all very hard and is stressed out etc etc. How can they say such stuff with a straight face. Let's hope they don't try for a reduced sentence due to the age of frumpy Fritzl. Anything less than 24 years would not be justice.

The whole thing gets more bizarre with each revelation. If some writer had suggested such a plot, every publisher on the planet would have laughed at the outrageousness impossibility of such a thing. Not even the Potter fan fic folks would have invented such a seedy scenario in Snape's dungeons.

But now that the poor woman and her kids have been released from all those years in the basement - it's hard even trying to imagine that the kids have never ever seen the sunlight or the moon until this week - well the Izzie has got just the suggestion for a suitable use for the place
We can send over our very own local politician Troy Buswell and himself and filthy Fritzl can have a grand time sniffing the place out

Austrians and Australians are certainly strange these days.

Perhaps you could add this Perth couple to the list for basement duty in Austria -

If they couldn't or didn't want to look after the kid why keep him? They could have put him up for fostering if not adoption by someone who would care for him.
