Slinking off into the Sunset

izmeinaLazy Izzie is slacking off today. It's a bit like last New Year. Back then also organized to have New Year's Eve off and the following two days. While the last day of 2007 was absolutely gorgeous - warm but not hot and quite breezy, the following two were stinkers
Must be the Big Bad Puritan Old Man in Black in the sky punishing Izzie for laziness.
After watering the weeds in preparation for the big sizzle later today, it's then time to pack the picnic and then slink into the city enroute to Fremantle and Cottesloe Beach for sunset
This time of year are the annual 20% off everything book sales in the two major stores and Izzie wants to indulge one last time before a new year of financial rectitude. Only second hand and library books are allowed.
That sure sounds seriously mean but that's without taking into account that we already got shelves and shelves of unread books in the Lair and some of those include those acquired from the Jungles of Amazon last year. "Natural Capitalism" and "The Seven Mysteries of Life" come to mind along with a bunch of gardening books
Will be interesting to see how long it takes for temptation to raise its ugly head and how long Izzie can resist the wickedness
So as it's most likely that Izzie will be absent from Cyberia until tomorrow afternoon, here's wishing everyone a happy, healthy and prosperous new year.
