Eleventy Undead Tentacles Typing

izmeinaIzzie's been so busy squiggling about the strange events going on at the Eden Vale garden festival that there hasn't been time to post about the real garden adventures down south
Was down south from Friday to Monday and had a most wonderful inspiring time. Most of the gardens open to the public are now out of town so not much fun for slinking without a car. But there's still no shortage of things to do just as long as they don't include the internet
Visited the kitschiest cafe and bric a brac store not just once but three times. The place is so bad that it is good. Just could not keep up with the inspiration this cavern of kitsch and its owner provided. Ended up squiggling so fast that when the time came for typing up, could hardly read a word of the crazy squiggles
So far gotten up to 22,222 words on Thursday morning. Liked the number so much and especially for the day that is in it, decided to keep on writing and saving with Scrivener but not updating on the actual nanowrimo site until tomorrow or maybe as early as midnight tonight.
Will be back at work on Monday so needing to build a big fat juicy buffer in case the Dementors and goblins suck the inner serpent's word stash all dry.
In reality, they should provide more source material.
Tomorrow is a serious culture vulture day. There's a heritage festival on in the city and a chance to do behind the scene tours and visit buildings that are normally not open to the public
The big one is the gorgeous green old Treasury Building. The inner goblin has just got to peek in there. Will also need to find some way of sneaking it into the story along with the plant eating zombies
Very happy with the squiggling this year. The list of 88 index cards with 260 something possible scenes has proved most useful indeed. At this stage, not even needing to refer to the original source of random inspiration - the Victorian Romantic deck.
Must be off. Wanting to be at the half way mark before the end of this evening.
