I guess he's got Scummo set in the right century though I'm not sure it was coal-powered then I think it was more wind-powered which would suit him even better. He is a big bag of wind! Then there is the Gollum that is our PM Wannabe building castles. The dead Murray River Cod Barnaby and Jules reading vogue and supporting that horrible Wintour woman who had the hide to tell the truth about that bigot, Ms Court. Tones on life guard duties and the Friedenburg looking like a stunned mullet and Poorlean and Clive in the background providing some lunacy and colour (white only in the case of Poorlean). The Opposition charging into the surf behind the barbecue of the vanities that is the Banking RC and Mundine being parachuted into Gilmore, another winner as a Captain's Pick by Scummo with the orange one hovering menacingly in the background. He has covered the full spectrum of horrors on the current federal political stage.
Bananaby the fried fish is my favourite along with Cool Julie and of course the budgie himself. Zombie gollum gets a dishonourable mention
After many attempts to find a repeat performance of the Wharf Review, I got lucky this evening. I fell asleep during some of the original 8am time slot and missed so many juicy morsels. I think it was the best one since the horse race. Especially Paul Keating musing about Barnaby's little pork sausage and Melanie doing Marlene Dietrich
