Things are getting creepier in Oz
Police Raids on journalists in search of sources. Even Aunty ABC isn't safe. Especially Aunty isn't safe as this government loathes being called to account.

I guess they are tired of having to hold so many Royal Commissions investigating corruption. All triggered by the antics of inconsiderate trouble making whistle blowers.
This will teach the ungrateful little upstarts and put them all back in their boxes.

It has been noted that the paperwork to authorise the raids was authorised before the election. Wouldn't want to scare off your chief media sponsors at Merdeoch Inc. if you want them to keep pumping out the propoganda. Or if Scummo thought that the ALP was going to win maybe he just wanted to leave something to embarrass them.

Funny how the occupants of that boat arriving from Sri Lanka was so quickly bundled off back to Sri Lanka. If the ALP had won, I wonder when they would be informed of the boat or was it meant to land at Christmas Island for the Lying Nasty Party to claim it was all the ALP's fault. But Dutton still managed to blame their presence on the ALP.

Then of course the "surprise" appearance of Chinese ships in Sydney Harbour on the 30th Anniversary of the Tianamen Square massacre. Gladys knew all about it but I assume again if the LNP Feds had lost there was another means to claim the ALP were no good at defending Oz.

There is not a whit of embarrassment felt by Scummo and Mr PotatoHead at the world media interest in the AFP's raid. I think they believe they are now invincible post-election, but in their hubris they have sort of forgotten that they really only won 2 extra seats and they may not be too happy with the Senate when it sits. Not sure they have enough RWNJs to support any of their legislation but there shouldn't be too much other than the budget papers as they did not present any new policies other than "Kill Bill"and "Tax, Tax, Tax from ALP". Perhaps after the budget is presented Scummo might just close down parliament as he might not want any Senate investigations in to the current LNP hijinks. The Lying Rodent succumbed to hubris and lost government and his seat, I can only hope that the same will happen to this awful lot. If Australians are stupid enough to vote this lot in again I give up!

It's hard to know how many unexploded bombs Scummo left behind on the assumption that he would be booted out. Now they are all blowing up in his face
