Yesss. Lots of handwashing going on. What is truth? Izzie wonders if the poor long suffering Aussie tax payer will ever find out. Since Saddam Hussein will not be appearing in the witness box - seems most unlikely indeed
Izzie can only hope that the Rat's last words will be "Voters. Voters. Why have you abandoned me?"
(For Izzie's not so Aussie friendseses - our esteemed Prime Mendacious and Most Fearless Leader was most gung ho indeed to go to war against evil dictators in Iraq - so enthusiastic that he overlooked niceties such as a vote in parliament and committed troops with nothing more formal than a phone call to King George. But it turns out - all the while he was spouting about the utter evilness of Saddam Hussein - a now privatized but previously government owned organization had been sanctions busting and paying bribes to Saddam Hussein and everyone in this organization, plus the watch dog and various government departments - they have all developed terminal cases of amnesia worthy of Schulz in Hogan's Heroes. )
