Scomo has come out of hiding to gloat over Brisbane getting the 2032 Olympics.
I'm sure he'll find some way to get the credit for himself. As usual.

Such a sad & pathetic clone of Don the Con.

The whole Olympics hosting thing is a poisoned chalice if you ask me.

You can tell when he's getting worried. He becomes increasingly testy. He snarled in respnse to a reporter's question - "I cannot control what ATAGI advises," the Prime Minister said.
'It's for them to now constantly reconsider how that balance of risk applies'

He seems to be implying here the very reverse of their proper relationship where the medical experts take his self-serving advice and change their minds.

And of course he made sure he got his mug on the TV just after the announcement of Brisbane being awarded the games. I gather the Olympic officials have pulled their heads in about creating a whole lot of new facilities at enormous expense and are OK with refurbs these days. I guess they have learned that cities/countries aren't that eager to want to host the games at the cost of being bankrupted. If the Olympics committee had declined Scomo would be the first in line to condemn Annastacia Palaszczuk for going to Tokyo.
