Over the line
25/11/2011 11:52 pmIzzie's feeling a bit zonked and brain dead but still managed to crawl upstairs to the Lair to get a coat of purple paint for the Nano statistics page.
Will be most likely absent from Cyberia for the next two days. Will still do lots of squiggling offline and type it all up on Monday. But achieving a state of royal purpleness does encourage slacking and lazing about. It's like when the Cat's away the mice will play.
Was intending to post some musings about a certain incident last Friday but feeling just a bit burnt out at the moment. Maybe Monday. By then there will be a feast of memos to sneer and snark about.
Over in the wild west of Oz, we don't need mean nasty petty control freaks on power trips to go running around with matches. We got the government fire department doing that instead. Maybe they have all been reading too much Ray Bradbury
They had to destroy the town in order to save it. But then again, evil Izzie has been letting the firebugs run wild in Eden Vale. Maybe some of them sneaked off the screen and went lurking around Margaret River. It is not that far away really
It is just as well that squigglers aren't allowed to rule the world. The nano incarnations of such creatures are a particularly psychotic and vile variety who think nothing of wiping out whole towns, cities, countries and planets if that is what it takes to up the word count
