Recharging the Batteries
09/01/2012 09:26 pmIzzie has not got much lurking time tonight in Cyberia. Got to curl up in the serpent sack to be up early for another day with goblins. Would usually be slinking from around 8-10pm but spent the first hour of that time on the bus returning from an evening of moon watching. Sat on the south side of the river with a gorgeous view of the city. There are very few places with a clear view to both east and west. As today's full moon was within minutes of sunset it would have been nice to see both but too much hassle at that hour with only bus and broomstick as transport
It was amusing to see a horde of folks with tripods and cameras descending on the foreshore just near the Izzie's park bench. It seemed to be some sort of field trip for a photography class. Never quite worked out if it was coincidence or not as not everyone had their cameras pointing at the big bright yellow ball of cheese
Sat for about 90 minutes in the twilight zone watching the transition from light to dark and the changes in colour of the moon from palest pinkish orange to yellow and then white.
The cutest owl arrived today with a post card of crazy creatures from the fantastical menagerie tarot. Izzie was getting ever so nostalgic as this was the deck of doom that started the recent addiction. Last week some crazy Bohemian cats landed and still not found an auspicious moment to peek at the pretty purring things. Saving them for this Friday 13th (there's three of them this year)
The latest Dursleyish dramas have been distracting the serpent from her online lurking and squiggling and a whole bunch of other things. The Serpent's garden looks like it has been attacked by a wannabee chain saw killer clocking up his hours of training. Could do with some pots of venomous tentacula and Devil's Snare. A mandrake or two could also come in handy.
But will have to make do with soya bean seeds, alfalfa and basil.
So Izzie has not forgotten her Cyberian friends, just still trying to catch up. Will be sending proper thank you owls, posts and things by the end of the week.
