Over here in Oz, a certain anniversary from 30 years ago (known in some circles as 35th May ) is taking all the attention away from the Royal Visit. Especially as 3 Chinese navy vessels lurked in Sydney Harbour just to remind the locals who pays the piper these days.
These days it is much harder to mow down citizens with tanks and to pretend that it never happened. I wonder how history would have been different if Tank Man had been live streaming his defiance on Facebook.
