Once again, the Izzie has fallen foul of an evil Imperius Curse. Seven days it took to get us in the end. But we didn't really try too hard to resist since it was such fun

Guilt
What is yours?
Explain yourself
Culinary: Cheese, chickpeas, chocolate and chai Chocolate - a choccie a day keeps the dementors at bay. Chickpeas - just yummie and scrummy in every incarnation, chai - spicy and exotic and cheese - well - Izzie has a fat tooth rather than a sweet tooth
Literary: MAD magazine Izzie has a very black and twisted sense of humour and utterly adores the evil parodies and hypotheticals
Audiovisual: Alan Rickman as Severus Snape No explanation necessary
Musical: Chris de Burgh, Abba, Frankie Goes to Hollywood Yesss. Izzie used to like Chris de Burgh in the old days when he wrote and sang real songs like Satin Green Shutters, Crusader and Spanish Train rather than abominations like Lady in Red which are truly worthy of a fatwah. Funny about Abba - like most of their stuff except Dancing Queen which we absolutely hate with a passion - as much as Lady in Red - and Frankie - is most unusual for Izzie to like stuff that was fashionable at the time but Frankie were good kitsch not so clean fun
Celebrity: Robert Mugabe, G W Bush, John Howard, Margaret Thatcher and Eric Abetz Yesss. Politics - Hollywood for ugly people

Now Izzie waves her evil green wand and performs the Imperius curse on:-

The cat is guilty of understanding some things too literally, could you please explain what is meant in the guilt meme: is it the list of things you're embarassed of being addicted to, or simply a synonym for addiction/enjoyment, implying that when somebody is addicted to anything, they should feel guilty ?

it's like this baffling question "do you often suffer from headache" - I always want to answer that I often *have* headaches but don't *suffer* from them :)

Well - Izzie understands that there is an element of embarrassment which is certainly the case in our musical tastes - but when it comes to Snape - there is almost a sense of - well anyone who does not appreciate such sublime sensuousness is simply beyond redemption - but we guess - it's the admission of liking stuff such as Harry Potter which is seen as sort of 'unacceptable' for proper grown ups but otherwise - Andrie has it pretty well summed up - but as well as embarrassment - also a sense of the sorts of things that you enjoy but would seem sort of out of character *imagines the Cat listing her absolute and utter admiration and fascination with all things Windoze*

Oh and chai - a true feast for the nose and taste buds - Izzie really does like to keep the nostrils happy and there is nothing quite like spices for tantalizing the tastebuds and evoking memories

Oh and Severus - he is really gorgeous but it is that voice that is truly the icing on the cake. Both sounds and looks are remarkable but together - such a combination is simply irresistable which is amazing when you objectively stand back and think what a total sadistic beastly arsehole he is in canon.

Soy milk and cinnamon??? Sounds perfectly revolting - well at least the soya milk bit. Izzie's version of chai consists of real moo juice - accept no substitutes with cinammon, ginger, cloves, cardamon and nutmeg with black pepper being an optional extra.
The cafes here call it 'chai latte' and most use a rather repulsive sickly syrup as their excuse for the real thing. Tried it once - never again. Pity because they got the spices pretty much right but totally stuffed up with the sugar. The Juicy Beetroot cafe does real chai but they add a bit of fennel seeds which kind of ruins it . They add no sweetener at all but have brown sugar and honey on the tables so you can do it yourself.

Oh and Alan Rickman's sexy Snapish voice - he can Imperio the Izzie any time - we will leave the rest to the imagination ;) Discussions on such subjects are best kept from public view.

Rats, I didn't get this comment notification, just now it occured to me to check the post again...

Actually I ought to admit some perversed fascination and admiration - not with Windoze but with its creator :P Although on the other hand, it's maybe not that out of character, because I'm also fascinated with Lucius Malfoy and alike ;) Oh and about appearances... as for me, my preferences are mostly based on the textual descriptions, I mean not the description of appearance, but the description of personality and behaviour, I dunno... the gorgeous looks of Severus and Lucius in the movies don't really add anything.

Ooops - I missed this. I'll go and stick it on my journal now, although 'guilt' isn't a word I can really use with any accuracy when talking about things I enjoy.

BTW, there's a 13 in my LJ ID! :)
